By using Globexa or any conference site hosted on it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
1. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Globexa for unlawful purposes, harassment, or abuse.
- Upload malware, viruses, or content that violates copyright.
- Bypass authentication, access another user's account, or perform security testing without prior written permission.
- Impersonate Globexa staff or another user.
- Send unsolicited bulk email through any conference's email campaign feature.
2. Conference organiser responsibilities
If you operate a conference on Globexa as an organiser:
- You are responsible for the accuracy of conference information, speaker bios, schedule, and registration terms you publish.
- You are responsible for honouring registrations, refunds, and certificate issuance per your published policy.
- You agree to handle attendee personal data per the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
- You will not use Globexa's email campaign feature for unsolicited commercial messaging unrelated to the conference.
3. Attendee responsibilities
If you register as an attendee or submit content (papers, abstracts):
- You confirm the information you provide is accurate and that any uploaded content is yours to share.
- You agree to follow the conference's published code of conduct.
- You may export or delete your data at any time per the Privacy Policy.
4. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading, you grant Globexa and the relevant conference a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute that content for the conference's stated purposes (e.g. your speaker bio appears on the conference website, your submitted paper is reviewed by the programme committee).
5. Service availability
We aim for 99% monthly uptime but make no guarantee. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where practical. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from downtime.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Conference organisers may terminate their use at any time; attendee data follows the retention policy in the Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Globexa is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the platform.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes go to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
